Hi there, Joshua!
Welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've stopped by with your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! It sounds like you're planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Joshua,
inclusivity and creating positive experiences for all Guests is of ultimate importance in the Disney Parks. As a fellow Guest, I'm honored by the opportunity to help make your Walt Disney World Resort holiday a comfortable and memorable experience!
Accommodations are available throughout the Walt Disney World Resort for Guests with mobility, visual, and/or hearing disabilities. However, at this time, only single queues/entrances exist for
theme park entry and transportation like the Disney Skyliner. Generally, these wait times are minimal as transportation options arrive regularly and theme park queues move rather quickly. However, I've chatted with a friendly Cast Member who informed me that Guests who struggle to stand for long periods may always reach out to nearby Cast Members for assistance if needed!
Joshua, have you heard about
Disability Access Service (DAS)? This complimentary service is available to Guests visiting the theme parks who have difficulty tolerating extended wait times in a conventional queue environment. With DAS, Guests can request return times to experience attractions via their
Lightning Lane entrances, minimizing their wait times! To register for DAS, simply stop by a
Guest Relations location once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort. There, a Cast Member will verify your eligibility and, if you qualify for the service, assist you with the registration process.
I hope this information helps you to prepare for a magical and memorable Walt Disney World Resort holiday, Joshua. I'm wishing you an unforgettable trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any additional planning questions ahead of your visit, please feel free to stop back by
planDisney anytime. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
