Howdy, Hannah! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
The Candlelight Processional is a majestic retelling of the story of Christmas by a celebrity narrator and several glorious choirs. At the Disneyland Resort, the Candlelight Processional is usually held the first weekend of December with two performances each on Saturday and Sunday. This event, however, has historically been invitation-only and, as such, there isn’t much promotion on the Disneyland Resort website. I haven’t seen an official announcement on dates, times, or narrators yet, but keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to see if they release any information in the coming days.
If you plan on being in the parks in early December, I hope you make time to take in all the special entertainment offerings for the
Holidays! A Christmas Fantasy Parade takes place twice daily in Disneyland Park and on most nights you can see the “Believe…in Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular. If you believe no holiday celebration is complete without a little snow, you can watch the Wintertime Enchantment of Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle two different times in the early evening and on select nights, there will also be snowfall along the Rivers of America!
I hope you have a truly magical time at the Disneyland Resort this holiday season!
