Hello Moms! I can't seem to find the answer to my question anywhere, so here goes. What time do the water launches run from the Wilderness lodge? Going in mid-sept, and I was wondering about the earliest and latest they run to the MK and Contemporary THX

    Hi Jennie,

You must be very excited for your upcoming trip to Disney's Wilderness Lodge!  Have you been there before?  If not, prepare yourself to be wooed by the majesty of this unparalleled resort.  I could sit in the main lobby of the Wilderness Lodge for hours, just soaking up its inspiring architecture and gorgeous decor.  You're going to have a magical experience.

As for the water launches to the Magic Kingdom, these start running one hour before opening time at the Magic Kingdom.  The boat that travels between Fort Wilderness, the Contemporary Resort, and the Wilderness Lodge typically sets sail at 6:45 am (weather permitting) and will continue to run until 11:30 pm.  The boat from the Magic Kingdom will continue to run until at least an hour after park closing, so that varies from night to night.

When you arrive at the dock at the back of the Wilderness Lodge, look for the colored flags on the boats as they arrive.  They will indicate whether a specific boat is on the resort loop or whether it is headed to the Magic Kingdom.  Of course, you can always confirm the destination with the friendly cast member driving the watercraft.

I'm so thrilled about your upcoming vacation.  Wish I could come too!

    Have fun.
