Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is so fun to pick a character icon to represent each family member! When we first did it, we actually voted as a family to decide which characters were most like each of us. It was a fun dinner conversation that resulted in plenty of laughter and a chance to reminisce about our beloved Disney characters.
I just visited
My Disney Experience on a computer to see if I could change the character icons and was able to do it successfully by going through the following ste
ps:
1) After logging in to
My Disney Experience account, go to
My Family & Friends. 2) Click on
Update next to any of the names listed.
3) If you look at the current icon, below it there is a
Change Character button that you will want to click.
4) Then, select the new character icon and click
Done.
5) This should return you to the
My Family & Friends List where you need to click
Save.
I was also able to change the icons through the
My Disney Experience app on a mobile device by doing the following steps:
1) After logging in to the
My Disney Experience app, go to the bottom right corner with the 3 parallel lines and click on those.
2) Click on
My Profile.
3) From here, I could click on
Change Character for myself and select a new character. It changes immediately.
4) To change the character icon for others, click on
Family & Friends List.
5) Click on any of the names listed, which opens up the information on them; click on
Change Character. The icon won't change until your click the back arrow to return to the previous back.
I hope that between either visiting My Disney Experience on a computer or the My Disney Experience app on a mobile device that you will find success in making the changes to the character icons.
