Hi Meredyth!

I'm so pleased to hear that you have found the advice from my friends here at the Moms Panel helpful! They really are a magical bunch and I pinch myself every day to make sure it is not a dream that I get to work with them. Helping guests plan memorable vacations is so much fun.

You most certainly may add an additional day to your park hopper ticket. If the Cast Member who checks you in to your Disney resort is unable to add the day for you, simply take your ticket (before the last day is used) to a ticket window at any of the Disney theme parks to add one more day. You may want to wait until mid-way or later through your vacation to make sure that you'll be needing the extra day before you purchase it. There are so many wonderful things to do both inside and outside the parks that you may want to consider all of your options before altering your tickets.
