Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elizabeth. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I totally understand your frustration. Hard-to-get
dining reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort really ARE hard-to-get! The advice you've received is my best advice too; continue checking for availability. I've found that perseverance is the key in getting those elusive dining reservations. When I can't find the availability I'm hoping for, I check the website multiple times a day for weeks, or even months on end. Typically, the closer I am to my arrival date, the more likely I am to find availability due to last minute cancellations! In fact, on our most recent visit, I was finally able to get a breakfast reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant only the night before. I had been checking availability for months on that one! I also suggest calling the Dining Reservation line at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Sometimes, a friendly Cast Member is able to access availability that isn't appearing online. Don't forget to check the
My Disney Experience mobile app too! If you cover all your bases, I bet pixie-dust is sure to sprinkle down on one of them. One last suggestion; while dining during "off times" isn't ideal, you have a better chance of finding availability in late afternoon and late evening.
Your post-Christmas stay is a positively magical time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! There will still be lots of
holiday offerings to enjoy. I highly recommend including the Candlelight Processional in your itinerary. This beautiful retelling of the Christmas story is not to be missed!
I hope this was helpful, Elizabeth. Good luck!
Ashley
