I can't remember but we are planning a trip for 2014. When will the rates come out and how far out can I make reservations? I know I can do rooms before packages. Just can't remember the timeline. We are hoping to go Dec 2014. Skipping this year. :(

Hello Deborah!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

A two year wait will make your December 2014 Walt Disney World vacation a deserved and memorable one.  I know the feeling, but long waits add plenty of magic to a vacation.

Room rates usually go out during September or October.  During the last years rates have experienced an increase higher than the usual.  I hope that these increases were sufficient to cover the new additions - Fantasyland, Art of Animation Resort and My Magic + (still under testing).

Walt Disney World accepts room reservations up to one year in advance, so you have plenty of time to plan your 2014 vacation.  I have been able to experience Disney during the first two weeks of December and it was one of my favorite Disney vacations.  My family experienced a beautiful Christmas spirit all over the parks and resorts and special events that my kids will never forget.

Happy to help you plan a magical 2014 Disney vacation.
