Hi Juan,
Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I'm happy to assist you as you plan your visit to
The Most Magical Place On Earth.
Let’s talk theme park reservations! As of early 2024, Guests with date-based theme park tickets no longer need to make theme park reservations. Date-based tickets are the most common type of ticket and are selected for specific start dates when purchased through the Walt Disney World Ticketing Website. These tickets automatically include your theme park entry for the days selected, making it easier than ever to just scan your ticket and head straight to the fun!
However, there are still
some ticket types that do require a theme park reservation. These include Annual Passes and tickets not tied to a specific date, such as student group tickets, convention tickets, and some promotional tickets. If your ticket falls into one of these categories, you’ll need to make a reservation using the
Theme Park Reservation system. Be sure to log in to your Disney account and link your tickets first so you can see availability and secure your spot!
And Juan, if you need a hand with anything else, whether it’s choosing your perfect
Lightning Lane strategy, scoring that must-have dining reservation, or planning a relaxing non-park day, I’d be
thrilled to help you make the most of your time.
See you real soon!
Brent
