Welcome to planDisney, Peter!
Thanks for stopping by with this question about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. So, to answer your question yes you can book two resort rooms, but you can’t do this online without booking separate reservations under two different guest names. The easiest way to book two rooms is to contact
The Walt Disney Travel Company. With that said,
Disney's resort rules indicate that guests must be 18+ to book, check into and occupy a Disney Resort hotel room alone. Your goddaughter will not be able to stay in a separate room alone if she is under 18 years old.
While that might not be the best news for your plans, I do have an alternative for you: consider booking one suite instead. Many of
Disney’s Deluxe Resorts have one-bedroom suites that would allow for some privacy between the guests sharing it. Deluxe Resorts are also home to
Disney Vacation Club Villas where you’ll not only get more space but additionally you’ll have all the comforts of home like an in-room washer and dryer and a full kitchen. Another option (and perhaps the most affordable of the bunch) would be to book a family suite at one of
Disney’s Value Resorts. Both
Disney’s Art of Animation and
Disney’s All-Star Music Resorts have family suite options with separate bedrooms (and bathrooms!) that provide more space for guests.
Peter, I hope this information helps you plan your vacation efficiently. If there’s anything else you need, feel free to visit us here at planDisney again. Until then, TTFN… ta-ta for now!
