    Can't I just use our magic bands for entry into the park on our initial day in Disney, they are linked to My Disney Experience or do I still need to go to Guest Services first?

    Thank you for stopping by with a great question! In just a couple of months, you will be making new memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    I have good news! You are welcome to use your existing MagicBands with valid admission and go straight to the theme parks and water parks to enjoy your day! Be sure to link theme park tickets to your Disney account and make Disney Park Pass reservations for the dates and parks you plan to visit. Sign in to My Disney Experience and visit My MagicBands and Cards to check if your MagicBand is active and you will be all set! 

    Thomas, if you have had your MagicBand for longer than 2 years, please note that the battery inside may not be working anymore. I have already used MagicBands that are a bit older than that, but if you have any issues, Cast Members at park entrance will be able to assist you. You are also welcome to purchase a new MagicBand at shopDisney.com before your visit, or stop by retail and merchandise locations at the Walt Disney World Resort upon arrival.
