Hi, Desirae! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am so excited to hEAR that you will be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort this December! There is no better time to
return to a world of magic than the
holiday season! It sounds like Stitch might have been causing some trouble for you on the website as you were planning for your upcoming trip. Let's see if we can get everything sorted out for you.
When the Walt Disney World theme parks reopen, they will be
operating at reduced capacity levels for Guests to maintain appropriate physical distance. For this reason, Guests will be required to have a theme park reservation along with their valid park admission to enter a Walt Disney World theme park. Theme park reservations may be booked online using the new
Disney Park Pass system.
On June 22, 2020, Guests who have both an existing
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation and valid theme park admission were able to begin making their theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. Guests are eager to return to The Most Magical Place on Earth, so the volume of people logging into their
My Disney Experience accounts yesterday morning was quite high. This may be the reason that you experienced some difficulty.
Desirae, I was able to secure theme park reservations yesterday for a trip I have coming up in the fall. I know several of my fellow panelists also successfully booked their park reservations. There is still plenty of park availability, so if you already have a confirmed Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation and valid theme park admission, I recommend you give the Disney Park Pass system another try. I have a feeling that things will go a bit more smoothly for you now that the initial rush of Guests booking reservations has calmed down.
If I have misunderstood your question and you have not yet purchased theme park admission, tickets will once again be available to purchase later this summer. Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest announcements, and if you have additional questions, please visit us again.
Have a magical day!
Samantha
