Aloha, Pam!
Mahalo (that's "thank you" in Hawaiian) for stopping by planDisney! How exciting that you have a vacation to
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa just on the horizon. Pam, our family just returned from riding the Hawaiian roller coaster ride at Aulani, and experiencing the magic of Disney and the spirit of Aloha in one location is so special.
Pam, it looks like you are fairly close to your departure for Aulani. You can try and go back into the system where booked your Aulani reservation - whether it was through
Disney Vacation Club using Vacation Points or directly with Aulani - and see if, after logging into your account and reviewing your reservation, there is an option to order MagicBands. If not, since you already ordered them, an alternative would be to
visit shopDisney and have them expedited to your home so you have them before your departure.
Now, I was just there two weeks ago and they do sell MagicBands in
Kalepa's Store, located near the Aulani lobby. So, should you arrive and not have MagicBands with you, you can get them onsite and ask the Front Desk to connect them to your room.
I will also let you know they will work for entering your hotel room and you can use them for room charges, assuming they are connected to your room. However, at this time, they don't do anything "extra." For example, if you enjoy the
Menehune Adventure Trail (and I highly recommend it) which is an interactive scavenger hunt on the property, that still uses a tablet which you can get from the Pau Hana Community Hall.
I hope this helps you, Pam. If you have any further questions about your upcoming stay at Aulani, stop back and see me here. At planDisney, we are your 'ohana. 'Ohana means family and that means nobody gets left behind.
A Hui Hou (it means "until we meet again" in Hawaiian),
