Hi Tina, welcome back to planDisney!
I am also a list-maker when it comes to my Disney vacations. While I love attractions, shows, and parades, my lists consist of what
snacks I want to try and where to find them.
It seems like the Wishlist function you’re looking for is no longer available on the Walt Disney World website or My Disney Experience app. There are a few alternatives you can try to make sure your favorite activities are prioritized during your vacation.
First, on the
Walt Disney World website, you can make notes to add to your itinerary. On the website, log in to your My Disney Experience and visit “My Plans.” Scroll down to “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets” where you should see “+ Add More Plans.” Click “+ Add More Plans” and select “Notes” from the drop-down menu. From here you can add a note to your plans with the date, time, location, and description of the experience. You can even share the note with other Guests from your Family & Friends List which means the note will also appear on their itinerary. At this time, you can only create notes on the Walt Disney World website.
Within the My Disney Experience app, you can set up
Disney Genie Service to help guide you through the parks while prioritizing your selected experiences. In the app, click on the ☰ and select “Today’s Plans.” Here, you can get started with setting up your Disney Genie preferences. You can even set this up in advance; I was able to select any date I have a valid theme park admission. You’ll set the park you are visiting, make your top picks in attractions, entertainment, and dining, and even choose from various categories like characters and park interests. On the day of your visit, Disney Genie will make recommendations on when you should visit your favorite attractions, what time entertainment offerings are starting, and even suggest a time to
mobile order some food from a quick-service restaurant! (I like to order some Mini Corn Dogs from
Casey's Corner to share with my kids right before
Happily Ever After!)
Take some time before your vacation to get familiar with these new methods, Tina. I hope they are helpful on your magical vacation! Come back and see us at planDisney if you have any further planning questions!
