Can't find early times for before-park-open breakfasts. How strict are in-park TS breakfast places about ADR times? Should I show up at 8:00 for 9:30 ADR or just cancel the whole thing since actually eating at 9:30 kills my tour plan?

    Hi Monica,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your vacation planning question! Early-morning Advanced Dining Reservations are difficult to secure, but they sure are wonderful to have. Unfortunately, you won't be able to gain early access to the park if your reservation is not until 9:30 A.M. The Cast Members at the gates have access to view all of the reservations, and their times, and they restrict entry accordingly. With a 9:30 A.M. reservation, you would be allowed in at 9:00 A.M. to enable you to walk back to the restaurant and check in at the podium 15 minutes early. However, since all of the parks will be open by then anyway, that won't accomplish what you were hoping to. If your reservation is for a Character Dining buffet, I recommend that you consider keeping it anyway. You'll all be able to fill up enough that you won't need lunch and you can turn it into a "brunch" instead. That will essentially free up more time in your touring plan for the afternoon.

Please let us know if we can assist you further.

    Wishing you magical memories,
