I can’t find a cruise to any destination from CA, during the Christmas Holiday.

    Ahoy there, Dartine!

You are combining two of my favorite things: the Disney Cruise Line and the Christmas Holiday. That sounds like a magical vacation to me! Our family's second time sailing the seas with Captain Mickey was the most amazingly memorable and magical cruise aboard the Disney Wonder over Christmas. If we hadn't already been hooked on Disney cruises, that vacation was sure to seal the deal.

When visiting the Disney Cruise Line's Find a Cruise page, you may enable one or more filters to look for the cruise itineraries that speak to you. To look for a cruise during the Christmas holiday, you may select the December filter under the "Leaving" category. With that filter selected, you may observe the available ports by looking under the "Departing From" filter. Ports without cruises departing that month will be grayed out. And available ports in December will be selectable to further refine your search. Available cruises in December 2025 will be departing from Auckland, New Zealand, Galveston, Texas, Port Canaveral, Florida, Singapore, and Sydney, Australia.

Alternatively, you may start your search for a cruise with the "Departing From" port. After clearing the filters, choose a preferred port, such as San Diego, California. Then, you may check under the "Leaving" filter to find which months Disney Cruise Line ships will be sailing from that port. The next sailings out of San Diego will be aboard the Disney Magic or the Disney Wonder during the Spring months of March, April, and May.

Although there aren't any cruises scheduled to embark from California this upcoming December, you may wish to keep checking the Find a Cruise page or watching the Disney Parks Blog for announcements of the Fall 2026 itineraries. I'm hoping they will be released within the next few weeks. When they are released, I'll be anxious to learn whether there will be more or different sailings out of San Diego.

I hope you find a cruise that suits your schedule and travel options, Dartine. When you do find one, please don't hesitate to visit us again here at planDisney. We'd be happy to help you plan your Disney Cruise Line vacation.

    Have a magical time, Dartine!
