I can't find an answer anywhere on the WDW website. If I purchase Annual Passports online for our upcoming vacation to WDW, when do the annual Passports be come active, at point of sale, or first day in the park?

    Hello, Jeffrey!

Not to worry! The Walt Disney World Moms Panel is here! We've got your back! :-)

We've been Annual Passholders for about 8 years, so I can firmly tell you that when you purchase your Annual Passes online, you'll be sent a voucher in the mail (this prevents a very valuable "live" ticket from floating around in the mail.)  You can purchase those Annual Passes at any time, and save the vouchers for when you'll be heading to Walt Disney World. (Some folks even purchase their Annual Passes early, just in case the price increases prior to their actual trips!)

Once in WDW, simply present your Annual Pass Vouchers to a Cast Member at a ticketing window at a WDW park. Please note that adult Guests need to present a photo ID at the time of redemption; children do not. Your Annual Passes become activated on the first day of use, so you could pay for your Annual Passes right now, but not activate them until your 2013 trip; that first day of activation will be the first of 365 days of Walt Disney World FUN!

Please send any additional questions you may have as you think of them; I'd love to help!
