Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you've heard the exciting news about your
new Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card –– with the ability to access all your
Member Benefits and Extras right from your smartphone, it's just like having your own Membership magic wand! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble downloading your new Membership Card, but I'm happy to share a few tips to help you resolve your problem.
First, I suggest making sure you have your
own account for the
Disney Vacation Club website –– in my experience, this is the most common reason for not being able to access your card. This means that if you are a co-Owner on a contract with another Member, you each have a separate login and password for online access. But not to worry if you don't have an individual account (usually because you share access with a spouse or other family member) –– it's an easy fix. All you need to do is give Member Services a call at (800) 800-9800 to request a Club ID and Activation Code. Once you have those in hand, you'll be able to
verify your Membership online and create a new account (this can be the same login and password as your existing Disney Account if you already have one).
After your individual DVC Account has been created, you'll need to head over to the
Walt Disney World Resort website and sign in using your Disney Account credentials. Next, hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab and click on "Profile. On the next page, select "Memberships & Passes" to see the affiliations linked to your account. If you don't see your DVC Membership listed here, select "Add Your Disney Vacation Club Membership" and follow the onscreen prompts to connect your accounts. After that, you should be able to sign in to the
My Disney Experience app on your mobile device to successfully download your new card. You'll also want to make sure that you don't have an existing
Disney MagicMobile pass in your smartphone's digital wallet. If you already have a pass, you'll need to delete and re-add the pass in order to access your new card. Don't worry though, you'll still have access to your tickets and other Disney affiliations with the new Disney MagicMobile pass. If you're still having trouble downloading your new Membership Card, you can call
Member Services to speak with a Cast Member for additional help.
