Can't make a decision. My DH, DD6, and DD3 are planning our 1st trip for next June. For our budget we can do 5 nts at The Beach Club, 6 at Wilderness Lodge or 7 at PQRS Royal Rm with water option. All with dining and Park Hopper.

    Hi Alison!

What a decision to make! Those are all fantastic choices and I totally understand your dilemma!

If you plan to spend most of your time in the parks and your resort is a place to sleep and perhaps enjoy a swim and water slide now and then, you need to look no further than your Port Orleans option. However, if a Deluxe Resort's amenities, location and added dining options truly appeal to you, and you plan to build in some time to simply enjoy the resort itself, Wilderness Lodge and Beach Club are both great options!
Having stayed at all three resorts, I can honestly say that nothing about these resorts will disappoint you.

Considering it's your first trip with young ones, I'd definitely recommend that you go for the longer stay and choose Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside with a Royal Guest Room. With two little Princesses in tow, you just can't go wrong with that fabulous new room type, full of magical, little surprises and richly appointed.
By choosing the moderate resort to fit your budget, you gain the extra time to build in some relaxation in your schedule. Personally, given that it's June and will be warm, I'd give up the Park Hopper option and instead opt for the Water Parks Fun and More and spend a day at each of the Disney Water Parks!

There's always your next, return trip to Walt Disney World to consider for the Deluxe Resort level! Perhaps you'll be able to take advantage of a great offer prior to leaving WDW in June!

Please feel free to write back to me if I can help you weigh out your decision further with additional information or personal experiences.

Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question.
Wishing you a simply Magical time as you begin planning your family's Walt Disney World vacation Alison!
