Hi we can't decide between resorts. Me, DH, DS (3,6,9). AoA Lion King Suite or POR? We stayed in AKL, and AoA before and enjoyed both. POR could be cheaper but AoA would be roomier. Thanks in advance for your help, love this panel you guys are awesome!!

    Hi Celeste,

Since you've stayed at the Art of Animation Resort before, you are aware of how much more room you will have with a family suite versus a standard room. That being said, Port Orleans Riverside is a less expensive option and it is a great resort! Last December I stayed in a water view room and it had a pull down wall bed. Either your 3 or 6 year olds could both fit on there comfortably. In fact, depending on how big your 9 year old is, he might like sleeping there for a night too. It's a nicely sized bed. I was pleasantly surprised with how big the rooms are at Port Orleans Riverside. I would not hesitate to stay there with my husband and 3 of our kids. However, as you know, the more room the merrier when traveling with 3 children, so if the Lion King Suite is in your budget, you can't go wrong there.

Ultimately, if budget is a concern for you and you want to save some cash to use on souvenirs, I would go with Port Orleans Riverside. The pool has a waterslide, which you won't have at Art of Animation. The food court is fantastic there and the boat ride to Downtown Disney is fun as well.

I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
