Can't decide on a resort.Have stayed at the WL and Poly the past two stays.Planning a vacation the week before Thanksgiving.Should I try the GF,Beach Club or another? My girls are 6,4.If at GF looking at Outer Bldg Garden View.Is that close to pool?

    Hello Amy,

That sounds like a wonderful time to travel to Walt Disney World!

Of the resorts you mentioned, I prefer Disney's Beach Club. It is a little more budget friendly than Disney's Grand Floridian while still having all the perks of a deluxe level resort. I also prefer the amazing pool at Disney's Beach Club Resort. Stormalong Bay is perfect for small kids with its lazy river, sand bottom zero entry pool and awesome water slide on the shipwreck. The location of Disney's Beach Club is very convenient to Epcot and our family loves the fact that it is about a 5-10 minute walk (depending on the speed of your little ones) from the International Gateway (a much less crowded entry point) into Epcot. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and my kids loved all the "beachy" touches and theming of this resort. If you choose Disney's Beach Club resort, I would suggest requesting a large balcony, otherwise the smaller balconies do not have seating and can barely fit one person standing. Keep in mind that requests cannot be guaranteed, but it never hurts to try. If I had known about this request, I would've requested a large balcony. The small, almost non-existent balcony was our only disappointment in this resort.

If you decide to go with Disney's Grand Floridian, I would suggest requesting a room in outer building 8 or 9 as these are the closest ones to the Courtyard Pool.

    Have a wonderful time.
