    I just can't decide between POFQ and Coronado. I like the queen beds in Coronado, and the extra ammenities, but the spread out and walking factor with my Mom (77) worries me as well as kids 7 and 4. Mom is in her own room and the four us in another.

    Hi, Krista!  You are deciding between my 2 favorite Moderate Resorts!   Tough choice!

    However, based on the information you are giving me, I think French Quarter is your better choice.   While Coronado Springs is beautiful and the queen beds are really nice, it is a lot of walking .   I also think your kids might like the food court at French Quarter better than at Coronado Springs. 

    French Quarter, with about 1,000 rooms, is about half the size of Coronado Springs.    I suggest you book a standard view room and request buildings 2 or 3 with a room near the bus stop.   Connecting rooms can requested if you want the door between the 2 rooms.     Another fun perk of French Quarter is the boat ride that takes you to Downtown Disney!

    Both resorts are very nice and you will be happy at either location, but to cut down on the walking, I think Port Orleans French Quarter is your better choice.   (And for what it is worth, it is my kids favorite resort!)
