    Can't decide! We have 3 kids (7,4,2) and looking at Animal Kingdom vs Coronado Springs. Will consider any other great options too. This should be easier. :)

    Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Your children are going to fall in love with the magic of Disney! The Disney Resort Hotels you mentioned are both great choices for your family.

     

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge replicates the grand safari lodges of Africa. All rooms have balconies though views vary. My family and I have stayed in a Deluxe Savannah View Room at the main Lodge. We absolutely loved watching exotic animals, including giraffes, from our balcony and many of the resort's viewing areas. If staying at the main Lodge, I would recommend requesting any odd numbered Savannah View Room on the third or fourth floor of the Zebra Trail overlooking Arusha Savannah.

     

    Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a wonderful option in the moderately priced resort category. This resort has a large sprawling layout with many areas just waiting to be discovered and explored. Read about room requests at this resort HERE.

     

    Both resorts have their own unique charm and individual theming. However, given the option of staying at either of these two resorts, I would choose Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This resort also offers some truly amazing recreation activities such as Animal Programs, zero-entry pools, and play areas such as the Uwanja Camp for children.
