Can't decide between BLT and Saratoga Springs for 5/2010. I don't plan to spend much time in DD. Mostly interested in convenience travelling between the resort & parks & restaurants. What are travel times/ease for each, esp. MK and Epcot? Thx s

    Hi Leigh!

It sounds like Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort may be a better fit for you during your stay.

From the Bay Lake Tower, you can walk over to the monorail inside the Contemporary and ride over to the Magic Kingdom (estimating about 15-20 minutes). You could even walk from the resort to the park as it is just a block over (estimating 10 minutes, depending on your pace). You can also use the monorail to get to the ticket and transportation center, change monorails, and head over to Epcot (estimating about 30 minutes). All this is very easy to do for my family, and we usually travel with a double stroller!

From the Saratoga Springs Resort you'll find the bus rides to Magic Kingdom and Epcot to be about 15 minutes, and also easy. I would say that I enjoy monorail rides more than bus rides, though, that is just a personal preference. I hope this helps, come back to the Moms Panel if you have any more questions!
