I see you can't use a DAS card at the Water Parks but our first day will be at Typhoon Lagoon. Can my child at least get a DAS card there at Typhoon Lahoon at their Guest Services? Chris

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Chris ~

As the Mom of a special needs son of my own, I love to see that you are planning ahead. That will make your trip go more smoothly once you reach the parks.

Currently, Disability Access Service (DAS) is only issued at Guest Relations in one of the four theme parks - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - and is not issued at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. I know this would save you time so that you didn't have to stop by Guest Relations once you reach a theme park. Perhaps in the future they will add Guest Relations at the water parks as locations that issue DAS but for now, you should plan to stop by Guest Relations in the first theme park that you visit.

Here are a couple of links with some details explaining how the DAS works and a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the DAS.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
