I can't make brunch reservation at Citricos in GF on 9/29 through app even though I can make other reservations then (I have resort reservation from 9/23-30). Neither Citricos (brunch hours) or GFC shows available times. Can you help?

    Hiya, Stephen! Welcome to planDisney!

You have great taste when it comes to dining, Stephen! Both Grand Floridian Cafe and Cítricos are great restaurants at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. As a self-proclaimed Walt Disney World Resort food connoisseur, I’m happy to help sort this out with you, Stephen!

I did some digging to get to the bottom of your question, Stephen. The Walt Disney World Resort website shows that Grand Floridian Cafe will be temporarily closed from mid-July through October 2026. During this time, Grand Floridian Cafe brunch will move to Cítricos. I attempted to see if reservations were available during your travel dates for brunch at Cítricos, but I did not see any availability either. I reached out to a Cast Member who informed me that you can book brunch at Cítricos, but it will still be booked under a Grand Floridian Cafe reservation. Essentially, you will book a Grand Floridian Cafe brunch reservation but dine at Cítricos on the day of your reservation. Currently, I can see availability through September 25, and there are brunch reservations available on that date.

If I may make a recommendation, the Buttermilk-fried Chicken and Waffle is divine! The dish is made with hand-breaded chicken breast and malted waffles with sriracha-honey drizzle. It’s sweet, savoury, with just a hint of spice! While you’re at the resort, Stephen, I recommend walking around the grounds, as well as the beautiful lobby. It’s such a beautiful and elegant resort!

You’re also visiting during one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World. I highly recommend taking advantage of all of the offerings at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Disney Parks Blog routinely releases a Foodie Guide in the weeks leading up to the start of the festival. I expect we’ll see it very soon! It’s a great resource to get a sneak peek at all of the delicious eats and sips that will be at the Global Marketplaces throughout the park. Plus, Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on select nights from August through October. It’s a frightfully fun time, and I highly recommend it!

I hope this answers your question, Stephen! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your magical visit, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at planDisney. We’re always happy to help!

    Bon appétit!
