What can’t I bring in the park for lunch

    Hi Alex,

Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question. I am happy to help you think about planning for your magical vacation!

My family often takes snacks into the Walt Disney World theme parks! We find that having a quick bite close at hand can really help to keep everyone happy. It's not any fun if someone gets really cranky from hunger when waiting for an attraction!

In terms of what food you can bring into a Walt Disney World theme park, you can really bring pretty much almost anything, except you cannot bring alcoholic beverages. The restrictions are more around what containers you can use for this food. You cannot bring glass containers, and coolers must be no bigger than 24 inches long, 15 inches wide, and 18 inches high. You cannot use loose or dry ice in these coolers; however, you can use ice packs. I suggest that you check the Walt Disney World Property Rules list as it has a complete list of prohibited items including those around food and food transportation.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Alex! Have a wonderful time planning your trip, and please feel free to come back if you have any further questions.
