I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble adding
Genie+ to existing tickets in your My Disney Experience account. Like our friends, Timon and Pumbaa like to say, Hakuna Matata! It's easy to add Genie+ to your tickets once your vacation begins, one day at a time, each morning you would like to purchase the option. In fact, this is my recommendation since you might not need or want Genie+ for the duration of your ticket. You can save a little money this way and have more to spend on
Disney snacks!
On a day you would like to purchase Genie+, open the
My Disney Experience Mobile App and click on those three small horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the main page to bring up the welcome screen. Next, select the magic lamp icon that says "My Day." Find a purple bar that says "Get Genie+ Service," then follow the prompts to select your party members and finalize payment. You can do this as early as midnight of the day you'd like to purchase Genie+, but since you can't make your first Lightning Lane selection until 7 AM, I suggest taking care of this over breakfast before heading out for the day.
Jose, I'm concerned that your tickets are coming up as invalid, so to make sure you won't encounter any problems entering the theme parks once you arrive, I recommend
calling 407-939-5277 as soon as possible. A friendly Cast Member will check to see that everything is in order. Phone lines open at 7 AM EST, and if you're up early, it's a great time to call to avoid long hold times. If you're more of a night owl, calling an hour or two before closing time (11 PM EST) is also a good option.
