Hello Patrick, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.
I absolutely love to take photos and videos of the Walt Disney World Resort. There is so much attention in every little detail of each theme park, the camera seems to capture it. I have done a little research on your video stabilizer. As you know, selfie sticks are banned from use at all Disney Theme Parks. If your DJI Ronin S has an extendable handle, it will not be allowed in the parks according to
the list of personal items that are not permitted. However, tripods are allowed as long as they fit in a backpack.
However, due to the sheer size of your stabilizer with a camera attached to it, you may not be able to use it on some rides or attractions. If you have questions, I would suggest that you ask a Cast Member before using it while a ride is in motion. While we are on the subject of videos while riding, I have never had an issue with using a GoPro attached to a hand strap while riding
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Expedition Everest or even
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. As long as your stabilizer mount does not extend, it should not be a problem. Keep in mind that policies are subject to change as technology evolves and it will ultimately be up to the discretion of the Security Cast Members if it meets with the park safety guidelines. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
