Hi Kris, and welcome to planDisney.
You found the perfect place where you can interact with Guests just like you who have mastered the art of planning every aspect of a Disney vacation. From those early decisions months before you arrive, to the in-park questions that need quick answers, and everything in between, we’re here to help make your planning process smoother.
To fix your ticket linking situation, first head to the
Walt Disney World website. In the top right corner of the page, you’ll see
MyDisneyExperience just below the search bar. Hover over that and select “My Plans.” If you’re not already signed in, you’ll be prompted to log in to your Disney account, and then you’ll land on your My Plans page.
From there, scroll down to the section titled My Plans, Reservations and Tickets. You’ll notice your Daily Itinerary is the default view, but right next to it, you’ll see a tab for “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker.” Select that tab, and if your tickets are linked, they will appear there.
If you don’t see them, hakuna matata. Scroll back up to the top of the My Plans page, where you’ll see five categories: Family & Friends, Resort Hotel, Park Tickets, Park Reservations, and Dining. Hover over Park Tickets, then click “Link Tickets.” On the next screen, you’ll be able to enter the ID number from your ticket. Disney provides examples of where to find that number, depending on whether your ticket is a card, paper confirmation, or digital.
Now, if you still don’t see your tickets, they may be linked to another member of your traveling party. To check that, hover over Family & Friends and select “View List.” If you’re not connected to someone in your group who might be holding the tickets, go ahead and add them. Once connected, you can share plans, which include tickets and reservations.
If, after all of that, you’re still having trouble, it might be time to call in the experts. Visit the
Help Center on the Walt Disney World website and contact the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line. A Cast Member will be able to sort things out quickly.
Kris, once your tickets are linked properly, you may want to start thinking about whether
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is right for your group. These passes help cut down time in line and give you more freedom to enjoy the parks. I’ve found them to be one of the best ways to make the most of a Disney day, but you can certainly enjoy your visit without them if you prefer.
I hope this helps get you moving in the right direction. If you’d like, circle back to planDisney once your tickets are linked, and
I can walk you through building a Lightning Lane strategy, which attractions to prioritize, and how to maximize your time.
See you real soon,
Brent
