    I cannot seem to join a virtual queque even with a linked pass with a reserved date. As soon as I hit refresh at 7am the app threw an error message and went straingt to "Not Boarding", queque closed. And said to try again at 1pm.

    Hiya, Delmarie, and welcome to planDisney! And since you're currently at Walt Disney World Resort, welcome home! I'm sorry to hear your day has started in a less-than-magical way, so let's look at why you might be having problems joining virtual queues.

    It sounds like your theme park tickets are in order and linked to your account, so let's look at other possibilities. Since you've traveled from Puerto Rico, I suggest logging out and back into your My Disney Experience account on your mobile app. Scroll to the bottom of the Welcome screen and tap "Sign Out." 

    You could also change the country code linked to your app. From the Welcome screen, select "Profile" and tap "Account Settings." On the next screen, choose the "More Security Options" link to take you to the web browser. Scroll near the bottom to the gray drop-down menu and select "English (United States)." 

    Finally, make sure your app is up-to-date. I was at Magic Kingdom Park with a friend who was getting an error message when she tried to buy Disney Genie+ service. Her mobile app icon was an older version, so I suggested she update it. That did the trick, and she was able to make the purchase.

    The tricky part is that you won't know if these actions have fixed your issue until the 1:00 PM queue opens. My tip is to stop by Guest Relations at the theme park and explain what's happening when you try to join the virtual queue. Let them know what the error message said, and they can look at your app settings to help you troubleshoot.

    I suspect you might have missed getting a boarding group because other guests were a little faster. My family watches a clock with a second hand, and we tap "Refresh" a split second before 7:00 AM. And while that has worked brilliantly many times, there have been mornings when we have received the dreaded "Try again" message. 

    If you stop by Guest Relations and get the all-clear, I think you'll have an excellent chance to join the less-crowded 1:00 PM virtual queue. I still recommend being ready at 1:00 PM on the dot! I'm waving my magic wand so that you get to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or TRON Lightcycle / Run on this trip.
