I am so sorry you are having issues making your
Disneyland Theme Park Reservations. It sounds like your issue might be the
tier of your
Disneyland Theme Park Ticket. Tickets can be purchased on a tier system. The higher the tier, the more choices you will have to make a Disneyland Theme Park Reservation. If you have a lower tier ticket, what you CAN do is upgrade your ticket. Your only issue with upgrading your ticket will be that all upgrades can only happen in person at a Disneyland Theme Park Ticket Booth. Unfortunately, Guests are not able to upgrade tickets over the phone or in their My Disneyland Account.
Since you are out of the country, my recommendation would be to purchase new Disneyland Theme Park Tickets. That way you will be guaranteed to have Disneyland Theme Park Reservations for your visit in December. My fear is that if you wait until you arrive, all of the reservations will be gone, especially since the December timeframe is so busy. If you decide to purchase new tickets, you can then use the amount paid for your already purchased tickets and apply them to purchase new Disneyland Theme Park Tickets for your next visit.
