First, I'm unfortunately fairly limited with what help I can give here through planDisney. We're Guests - just like you - so if my suggestions below don't work then make sure to
reach out to a Cast Member at the Guest Info line.
With that out of the way, let's see if we can get this issue sorted out! You didn't mention it in your question, but I'm wondering if you're using an Apple product? If so, I'm wondering if you have the "Face ID" setting turned on for the Disneyland mobile app? This is what automatically logs you into the app using the Face ID feature.
To test this, you can pull up your Disneyland mobile app, tap the "Menu" icon (the three horizontal lines in the bottom right), scroll all the way to the bottom, and tap "Sign Out." This should take you back to the menu screen. In a best-case scenario, maybe you're all set now and can log in with your son's info now! If not, then you should see a pop-up that says it's logging you in with Face ID.
If that happens, go to your phone's "Settings" app and scroll down on this first menu until you see "Disneyland" and tap that option. Here, you should see a "Face ID" option that you'll want to tap to toggle it off. After doing this, you should be able to go back to the Disneyland mobile app, sign out, and now sign back in with your son's login info. Hopefully, that resolves it!
