I cannot find where to cancel a reservation I made for Fort Wilderness and theme park tickets. Where do I go to do that?

Howdy, partner! Randall, I am sorry to hear your plans have changed and you need to cancel your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Sometimes, life throws some less-than-magical curveballs.

In most cases, you should find the option to cancel your Disney vacation package online. Once you log into your MyDisney account, go to My Plans and scroll to The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort reservation. There should be a blue link that says "Cancel Reservation." Some reservations require you to call. If this is the case with yours, the number you can call to change or cancel your reservation will be listed here.

I really appreciate the flexibility of the terms and conditions for Walt Disney World reservations. With a vacation package, you can cancel and receive your deposit back in full as long as you cancel 30 or more days before your check-in date. If you are within 2 to 29 days, there is a $200 cancellation fee. Anything you paid above $200 will be refunded. If you were heading to Disney within a day, the total price of the package is non-refundable.

If you made a resort-only reservation and purchased your theme park tickets separately, you can cancel the resort with a full refund up to 5 days before the check-in date for reservations made in 2024. If your stay is scheduled for four days from now or sooner, you can cancel but will be charged for a one-night stay, which is the deposit you paid. Theme park tickets purchased outside of a package are non-refundable. You can call the Existing Tickets contact center for information on applying the value of the tickets to a future trip.

I hope your cancellation just means a delay, and it won't be long before you reschedule your vacation. As you plan your trip, please mosey back by planDisney with any questions. You have a friend in us.
