Hi Janet! Welcome to planDisney.
Be still, my Type A Disney planning heart! I love hearing that you’ve set up your
My Disney Experience account,
linked your tickets, and made your
Disney Park Pass reservations. You are truly ready for the magic to begin!
An exchange certificate is a type of Walt Disney World Resort ticket media other than a plastic ticket card. As a military member, I receive an exchange certificate when I purchase the Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets – it’s a paper card that says “Exchange Certificate” and has terms and conditions along with a ticket number printed on it. That number is what you link to My Disney Experience in order to link valid theme park admission and make your Disney Park Pass Reservations. When you purchase certain promotional offers, you receive one of these so you can make your plans, and then you exchange it for actual tickets when you arrive at Walt Disney World. I see you are a Florida resident, so you may have a Florida Resident ticket offer exchange certificate. Whatever you have that you were given when you purchased the tickets, and that has your ticket number on it, is your exchange certificate.
I hope that helps you identify and locate your exchange certificate. You will need to bring this with you to Guest Relations when you arrive, along with anyone you’ve purchased tickets for. They will check your ID and the exchange certificate, and then provide you with your physical tickets, which you can use to enter the theme parks.
If you’re still not sure about your exchange certificate, I would recommend reaching out to the experts. You may
speak with a Cast Member on the existing tickets line at (407) 566-4985.
Janet, have so much fun on your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! With all your plans in place, it’s time to think about the fun things, like
dining reservations and Enchanting Extras. Be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and updates from all around Walt Disney World, and please stop by and see us here at planDisney if you think of any further questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
