Welcome to planDisney, Hyejeong! It looks like, in addition to counting down the days to your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you're also ready to count down the minutes to a brand new year during your visit!
2026 promises lots of magic, and I'm excited to share the details of how you can celebrate the magic of a new beginning at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Hyejeong, Magic Kingdom Park is gearing up for lots of festive fun to ring in the new year, and the highlight of those festivities is sure to be the "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks celebration, scheduled to light up the sky above Cinderella Castle on December 30 and December 31 at 7:30 PM and again at 11:50 PM. Both showings on both nights will also include a countdown to the new year and lots of excitement and celebration throughout the park! In addition to the fireworks, guests visiting Magic Kingdom on New Year's Eve can expect to enjoy special entertainment from DJs spinning tunes at various locations throughout the park. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy Magic Kingdom's nighttime parade,
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, at 6:30 PM and again at 9:00 PM on both December 30 and December 31. With so much to see and experience for New Year's Eve, I know you're going to make the most magical memories closing out 2025!

Disney PhotoPass photographers throughout the park! They'll even be offering special, celebratory magic shots for the New Year celebration, and these photos will make great keepsakes to commemorate your visit!
