We cannot decide to visit Sept24-30, Setp 17-23or October 22-28. they are having the Halloween party so frequently we won't be able to visit the park at nite as much in Oct, but daughter is out of school in Oct. What are day crowds like during party?

    Hello David,

I love seeing a Dad planning a family vacation to Disney World! Nice to have you visit the Moms Panel!

October is a great time of year to go to Disney. It's actually one of my favorite times of year to visit. The weather's fantastic. And I have found crowd levels to be really in perfect.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween does not get started until about 7 p.m. each evening in the Magic Kingdom. So you'll literally have all day inside the Theme Park. And according to the fine folks at, historically crowd levels have been low this time of year. And from my experience, I will have to agree!

Good crowd levels and your daughter has break from school? Sounds like October is a win-win for your family!

    Hope this helps!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
