Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for your question, we can definitely get this sorted.
First make sure you’re signed in to the
My Disney Experience mobile app. From the home screen, press the three horizontal lines in the lower right-hand corner, scroll to the bottom and select “My Profile”. Next, select “Family & Friends List” at the top and click on the guest with the misspelled name. Then select “Remove from My List”, the app will ask if you’re sure you want to remove, then select “Yes, Remove”.
Once they are removed, go back to that “Family & Friends List”, scroll to the bottom, and select “Add a Guest”. You’ll want to re-add that guest in your party. After they are added, re-select their name from the “Family & Friends List”, then select “Share Planning with (insert name here)”. You’ll enter their email address and once they receive that email and accept, you will be able to co-manage your plans and share them across your My Disney Experience mobile apps.
I love doing this with my husband, family members, and friends because they can easily see our plans for the day. Whether it’s our
dining reservations or
Disney Genie+ Service reservations, everyone can know what our Walt Disney World Resort day will look like.
