Hey Emely!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for bringing your Disneyland Resort question our way!
I am sorry that you are not able to attend Disneyland as previously planned. Unfortunately,
Theme Park Tickets are non-refundable. That is because they are valid for a future visit through the end of their stated expiration date. But, if you're unable to visit before your ticket’s expiration, don't worry! According to
eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. When you’re ready to visit, simply go to a Main Entrance ticket booth and ask a Cast Member to apply your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase.
I just experience this over the weekend. My husband and I had previously planned a trip to Disneyland but were unable to go. The ticket expired but we decided to plan another trip. We were still able to make
Theme Park Reservations with the expired ticket. Then, when we arrived at the Disneyland Resort for our trip, we stopped by the Main Entrance Ticket Booth and paid the price difference for an unexpired ticket. It was so easy!
I hope this helps! Please head back to planDisney with more questions!
