How is the Candlelight Processional for little kids...ages 5 and 1.5?

    Hi Amanda!

The Epcot Candlelight Processional is my favorite holiday event at Walt Disney World. It is an absolutely beautiful musical celebration for all guests to enjoy.

As far as children enjoying this, it will be a personal decision as only you know your children the best. I just took my own granddaughter this past week and she loved every bit of it and she was only 20 months. There was also a young boy about a year and a half behind us and he did very well. There is plenty of space for them to stand in front of you which helps as they can either sit in your lap or stand during the show. Once the music began most children will settle in and relax and enjoy the show in your lap. I will recommend that you consider earphones for the youngest child as the trumpets are quite loud and this really helped my granddaughter.

The five year old should have no issues if they enjoy music at all. Obviously if children are those who can never sit still this is a show that does require that to some respect. And you also have to understand that children shouldn’t be talking through the entire production that might interfere with the other guest’s experience. But most children love music and settle right down once it begins as my own grandchildren did last week.
