Where is the candlelight processional held? Is it viewable throughout Wold Showcase or is it necessary to enter a special seating area?

    Hi Susan,

Thanks for coming to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are planning an incredible vacation to Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season. One of my favorite holiday events at Walt Disney World Resort is the Candlelight Processional. There is truly nothing like experiencing the Christmas story, as told by incredible narrators, to the backdrop of a live orchestra and mass choir. Every time I see this incredible show and hear the fanfare trumpets, it brings tears to my eyes and I can't wait to see it again this year!

Candlelight Processional takes place in America Gardens Theater, which is an outdoor amphitheater in the American Pavilion of World Showcase. While this an outdoor venue, you will not be able to view this special show from all of World Showcase. In fact, there is generally a queue that forms to enter each show and to get seating in the amphitheater.

I think the best way to enjoy this show is to purchase the Candlelight Processional Dining Package, where you can eat at one of the incredible restaurants at Epcot or on Disney's BoardWalk and then enjoy reserved seating for that evening's Candlelight Processional. I think it's the perfect way to ensure you will be able to experience this special event and avoid having to wait in a long queue to get a seat!

Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
