Greetings, Denise, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
The official dates of the 2019 Candlelight Processional at
Disneyland Park haven’t been announced yet, but in past years, it’s typically held the first weekend in December, with two performances each night. So, based on past years, I’d estimate that the Candlelight Processional may be held on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8. The exact dates and narrators aren’t always announced in advance, since the seating is typically invitation-only, as it has been since 1958, when Walt Disney started these private celebrations to thank community partners. The general public is welcome to watch this beloved
Disneyland Resort tradition from any open spots on Main Street, U.S.A. But, as you have probably seen, it can get quite crowded in Town Square as performance times approach. In past years, the Processional has been held at 5:30 PM and 8:00 PM each night.
It’s hard to believe that
summer’s almost over, but I’m so excited for
Halloween Time and the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, two of my favorite times of year! If you’re thinking about attending
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, I recommend
grabbing tickets soon, before they disappear into the night like the Headless Horseman!
Speaking of the Holidays at the Merriest Place on Earth, have you ever participated in the
“Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort” Guided Tour? It’s on my Disney “must-do” list, and I think it would be the perfect way to kick off the season! During this 2.5 hour walking tour, Guests are treated to reserved viewing of
A Christmas Fantasy Parade, delicious holiday treats, a collectible pin, and more.
Wishing you a joyful holiday season filled with Disney magic!
