    For the candelight processional, has anyone done the general admission?

    Hi Ashley! The Candlelight Processional is one of my favorite events each year. I always try to book at trip so I can enjoy one of the beautiful performances. I don't care who the narrator is as I just love the story of Christmas done in music, song, and narration.

    Years ago I never worried about getting a seat to enjoy this show. But with the development of the dining package which includes a guaranteed seat if you partake in a meal at an Epcot restaurant the odds are much much less that you will get in. The stand-by line is quite long and many guests wait several hours which is not something I prefer to do when I could be enjoying other parts of the park.

    I suggest you grab a dining package and find a restaurant that fits your taste and budget. You can eat at lunch or dinner or mid afternoon and get a seat for one of the three shows. If you just can't fit that into your plans then the other option is to simply stand on the walkway behind the area and listen as best you can. You won't get the full effect and other guests will be talking as they walk by but you can hear the music and enjoy it as best you can.
