Will cancelling annual passes for those on a monthly payment plan be available once the Park reopens ,especially due to having a disabled young child or pre existing condition be an option due to covid still being an issue ?

    Hello Vanessa!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask a great question about your Disneyland Annual Passport.  It's my pleasure to help answer your question today.

First off we want to thank you for being an Annual Passport holder.  I know the current times we are in are very unpredictable and I understand your concern about returning to the parks.  I am happy to share what I currently know about the Annual Passports that are on the monthly payment plan with you.  Please keep in mind this information is changing and  additional news could come out tomorrow.  I advise you to keep checking the "Update on Disneyland Resort Operations" page on the Disneyland Resort website.  As of today, your automatic payments on your Annual Passport were paused beginning April 5, 2020.   Any payments will be waived while the theme parks remain closed.

Once the parks reopen you will have two options for your Annual Passport.  With scenario one payments will resume on your regularly scheduled payment plan when the parks reopen.   You will pay the monthly payment until the normal expiration of your Annual Passport.   Once you reach that date your contract is fulfilled and you will not be required to make additional payments.  For example,  if the parks reopen in July  and your Annual Passport expires in October you will pay in July, August and September.   If you use scenario two your Annual Passport payments will resume once the parks open.  The waived payments during which the park was closed will be added to the end of your currently scheduled expiration date and your expiration date would be extended to provide additional opportunities to visit the parks.   In order to request the second option we advise you to contact Annual Passport Member Services at (714) 781-4567.

No options were given for a complete cancellation of your Annual Passport.  If  you have additional questions about your particular situation I would give the number above a call and a Cast Member would be glad to speak to you about it.   Please remember this information is changing constantly so please keep checking the website for the most up to date news.

Thanks again for stopping in.  It's been so nice to help you out today.
