"
Bright suns", Sarah and let me welcome you to planDisney where we love nothing more than helping our fellow rebels plan a trip that is out of this galaxy.
Sarah, from one boy-mom to another, I'm thrilled to chat with you about your upcoming trip. I also have a vacation planned with my sons for early this summer, one of whom is about to turn 10, so I appreciate your predicament. First, to answer your question: yes, you will need to modify his ticket. The quickest way to do so would be to call into the
existing tickets line where a Cast Member can assist you.
Since this is the first year that I needed to purchase an adult ticket for my son, I did a little homework and am happy to report that while I feared I would have to purchase the equivalent of a new Starcruiser, (
depending upon your ticket type and length of stay) the difference between the two ticket prices is roughly the same as indulging in a
Ronto Wrap and a refreshing
Blue (or green) Milk found on
Batuu.
Sarah, I hope this helps as you are planning to enjoy your rescheduled vacation. I know that the year 2020 brought many disappointments and I truly hope your trip is the adventure you've been dreaming of. If your youngling is a
Star Wars fan like mine, make sure to
familiarize yourself with the ins and outs of joining a boarding group for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. It is an experience like none other... and riding it with my son was the most Magical thing of all.
Sarah, please come back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have. Until then, "
May the Force Be With You."
Lauren
