What is the cancellation for resorts on Disney property -- specifically, Beach Club?

    Hi Victoria,

Glad you stopped by at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Let me try to help you out with your concern.

There are several ways to book a vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. From room-only reservations, to Magic Your Way Vacation Packages, there is a way for everyone and every budget. Although the best way to book is either directly (online or by speaking to a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936) or with an authorized travel agent, you could also book rooms at internet sites like Expedia or Orbitz. Keep in mind that these could have their own cancellation terms and conditions.

A Magic Your Way Vacation Package only requires a $200 deposit, and its balance must be paid 30 days before Check-In. That is also the last day to cancel without penalties. Room-only reservations require a deposit equivalent to the first nigh's rate and its balance will be due at Check-In. Cancelations must be made up five days before Check-In in order to receive a full refund of the deposit.

One last tip: remember to keep an eye for Special Offers, which can help you save some Disney Dollars. And if budget is a concern, consider a moderate or value resort. My favorite? Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Hope to see you real soon!
