What is the cancellation policy on resort reservations for annual pass holders?

    Hey, there Julia,

I love getting to help an Annual Passholder!

As of now, if you've booked a Room-Only reservation with your Annual Passholder Discount, you can cancel up to 5 days before your arrival for a full refund. Easy peasy! But if you cancel between 0-4 days before, you’ll lose the cost of a one-night stay (aka the deposit).

Heads up, though! Starting January 1, 2025, the policy is changing a bit. From then on, you’ll need to cancel 8 days before your arrival to get a full refund. If you need to cancel, there are a couple of different methods for cancellation. You can sign into your My Disney Account and go to “My Reservations.” You’ll see your reservation and if your reservation can be canceled online, you’ll see a link for “Cancel Reservation.” If for some reason your reservation isn’t eligible for cancellation online, just reach out to Guest Services, and they'll take care of everything for you.

Now, if you've booked a Vacation Package (that means your Resort reservation, theme park tickets, Memory Maker, and even sometimes a Disney Dining Plan), the rules are a bit different. You can cancel up to 30 days before your arrival for a full refund. From 2 to 29 days out, you can still cancel, but there’s a $200 cancellation fee. Unfortunately, if you cancel the day before or on your arrival day, you’ll lose the entire package cost.

And remember, these policies can change, so it’s always good to double-check before making any plans. I hope you have a magical stay!
