What is cancellation policy for resort?

    Hiya, Joseph!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney. Travel plans change all the time and I am happy to share what I know about the Walt Disney World Resort's current cancellation policies for hotel and vacation packages.

If you have booked a Walt Disney World Vacation package including a Disney hotel reservation and tickets, you can cancel anytime 30 days before arrival for a full refund of your deposit and any balance you have paid. If you are 29 to two days from check-in, a refund minus the $200 deposit will be given. Cancellations made 1 day or less than arrival or no shows will not be refunded.

If you booked a room at a Walt Disney World Collection hotel that is not part of a package you will need to cancel the reservation five days prior to your reserved check-in date. It is important to note that policies may change, so be sure to check the terms and agreements if you have not booked your vacation yet.

Joseph, I hope that these policies will not be needed for your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. This is an amazing year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. There are exciting new attractions like Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, new nighttime spectaculars including Disney Enchantment, and the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration all happing right now. There are too many must-dos to list.
So, I hope that we will see ya real soon!
