What is the cancellation policy? I want to know until when do I have to cancel to get 100% of my money back? In a payment plan

    Hi Deborah!

It sounds like you're planning a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I'm happy to help you with your question. This is a great time to visit because the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs are infused with extra magic for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration. You'll be able to enjoy special EARidescent decorations, tasty birthday treats, and exclusive celebration merchandise during your visit!

While no one wants to cancel a magical trip, Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages can be canceled or modified and the fees to do so will vary based on the timing of your cancellation. If you cancel 30 days or more before your check-in date, then you will get a refund of the amount you have paid, except for any non-refundable additions you have included in your package (such as travel protection plan costs or third-party hotel cancellation fees). If you cancel two days to 29 days in advance, then you'll receive back the amount you paid minus a cancellation fee of $200 and any non-refundable additions or third-party fees. If you cancel one day or less before your arrival, then you won't receive any of your funds back.

Keep in mind that these cancellation policies are specific to vacation packages that bundle your Disney Resort hotel reservation and theme park tickets. If you purchase theme park tickets separately from a vacation package, then those tickets are non-refundable.

When visiting with a vacation package, you are welcome to pay towards your vacation balance as you go, with your payment balance due in full 30 days before your arrival. If you find that you need to cancel your trip, be sure to cancel at least 30 days in advance to maximize your refund. You can check out the Vacation Package Terms and Conditions for additional information.

Deborah, keep in mind that you will need both theme park tickets and a theme park reservation to visit the parks. Since reservations are limited, I recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible so you can enjoy the perfect theme park itinerary!

Feel free to come back to see us if you have additional questions. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
