What is the cancellation policy for hotels at Disneyland

    Hey Howdy Hey, Shannon!

You've got a friend in me here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, so thanks for your wonderful question. While I sure hope you don't have to cancel your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland Resort Hotels make it easy to change or cancel reservations if necessary.

To cancel hotel reservations, you will need to call the Walt Disney Travel Company at (714) 520-5060. The process for canceling a reservation differs if you have a "room-only" reservation versus a vacation package, so I will outline both scenarios. For a room-only reservation, you will need to notify the Disneyland Resort at least five days before arrival. If you cancel 0-4 days prior to arrival, the first night's room rate plus tax will be retained as a cancellation fee. For a vacation package, you can cancel 30 days or more in advance without a fee. If you cancel 29-2 days prior to arrival, there is a $200 cancellation fee. For cancellations 1 day prior to arrival, the fee is 100% of the package price. Keep in mind that policies are subject to change. If you haven't booked your room yet and are thinking you may have to cancel, it is in your best interest to book a room-only reservation since there is a little more freedom to change and cancel before you arrive. I hope this helps!

If you have any other questions as you plan your magical vacations to the Disneyland Resort, please don't hesitate to return. Have a Fantasmic day!
