what is the cancellation policy if you don't book through disney

    Welcome to planDisney, Mary Ellen!

Thank you for stopping by with an excellent question! We are thrilled to assist fellow Guests as they plan a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Nobody likes to think about the possibility of canceling a Disney vacation, right? However, life happens, and plans change, that is why I always encourage friends and family to read their vacation cancellation policy carefully so they know what to expect. This is especially important if you booked your vacation package through a third party. You will have to cancel through them so be sure to view the terms and conditions of your package at the time of purchase as well as the cancellation policy. Our friends at the Disney Reservation Center are unable to access reservations made via a third party, so I recommend contacting your travel professional for assistance.

It was a pleasure answering your question, Mary Ellen. Come back to visit real soon if you have additional questions and check out our Panel Extras for more tips and advice!
